T-Mobile’s efforts to be the “Uncarrier,” to stand out against the three other major wireless companies in the United States, continues with a new family plan that the carrier has unveiled for a family with four lines. This time around, though, it’s only a limited time deal. Announced by T-Mobile’s CEO John Legere via the company’s official blog, the new 10GB, $100 family plan works with four lines, and it’s designed to undercut the three other major wireless carrier’s similar plans. And, as you can see from the chart above, it does so by $60 per month. The chart also points out plenty of other areas that T-Mobile outshines the competition, with the familiar magenta color highlighting T-Mobile’s triumphs versus the competition. With this specific plan, it will work with a family of four, and that’s it. And while the plan is focusing on 10GB of data, it’s broken down to 2.5GB per line of T-Mobile’s unlimited data. Moreover, while Legere quotes a savings of $1,440 over two years: The plan is actually complete at 1/2/2016. After that, the plan will revert to T-Mobile’s standard 4GB unlimited data plan, which is 1GB of unlimited data per line. The plan will switch to an available option for potential subscribers beginning July 30, and you’ll have until September 30 to make it happen, before the deal disappears. Do you think you’ll be making the switch?
