HTC has been busy in rolling out the Lollipop update for carrier variants of the One M7 and One M8 despite missing its promised deadline of 90 days to complete the roll out. The company has already started rolling out the Lollipop update for Sprint’s variant of the One M7 and One M8 and joining them soon will be T-Mobile’s One M8 as its Android 5.0 build has received the neccessary Technical Approval (TA) from the Magenta carrier. The update is slated to start rolling out from Monday, February 9.
— Mo (@moversi) February 7, 2015 Even though it could not keep its promise of updating the One M7 and One M8 to Lollipop within 90-days, HTC has been extremely quick in rolling out the update for its flagship handsets of 2013 and 2014. While Samsung and LG have also rolled out Lollipop updates for their flagship handsets, they are yet to roll out the update in key markets of the world like the United States and Europe.
